Well, we're almost there. You've (hopefully) learned something about Business Law during the course of the semester and had some fun along the way. Now it's time to wrap things up. We have three chapters that we still need to complete. They are Chapter 29-Employment, Chapter 32-Corporations, and Chapter 34-Government Regulation.
For this final project, each team member will be assigned one of the above-mentioned chapters to complete. Since previous projects were used for you to demonstrate knowledge of concepts, only these three chapters will comprise your final exam for the course. To complete this project, create a Google Doc for your Chapter and share it with your team members. Please note, however, that EACH student will submit their own Google Doc (for their chapter) to Mrs. Cuellar for grading. You are sharing the document with your team members only to give them additional information that they will need to study for the final exam.
1. In a Google Doc (named Chapter " "), complete the following:
All of the terms and their definitions for your chapter.
All of the “Think about Legal Concepts” questions in the chapter. (include questions and answers)
The “Concepts in Brief” and “Your Legal Vocabulary” sections in the Chapter Review. (include questions and answers)
The “Case for Legal Thinking” at the end of your chapter. (include the questions and answers).
2. Collaborate with your team to create ONE online presentation (Prezi) that illustrates/outlines the important aspects of all three chapters. This Prezi will be used by your teammates to study for the final exam--make certain that you cover the chapter fully and completely so that the Prezi can be used as a valuable tool for study.
3. Embed your completed Prezi on your Project Page of the WIkispace.
You will receive 4 daily grades for this assignment, which includes a daily grade for the vocabulary, the "Think About Legal Concepts," the assigned portions of the Chapter Review, and the "Case for Legal Thinking." You will receive a test grade for completing your portion of the Prezi. The entire assignment as a project will be graded according the rubric listed below:
